Synthesis of Magnetic Fe3O4@V2O5-rGO Nanocomposite for Photocatalytic Applications

چکیده
Recently, the synthesis of magnetic nanocomposite@graphene oxide (reduced graphene oxide) with photocatalytic activation has received much more attention for removal of environmental pollutants under sunlight irradiation. Herein, a magnetically photocatalytic nanocomposite (Fe3O4@V2O5-rGO) has been synthesized by a simple solution chemistry approach. The synthesized nanocomposite was characterized by Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction (XRD), field emission scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM), and elemental mapping to consider structures and chemical bonds presents in nanocomposite, structural analysis and inter-planar spacing, morphology and elemental distribution, respectively. Then, Fe3O4@V2O5-rGO nanocomposite was investigated for removal of the cationic dyes rhodamine B (RhB) and methylene blue (MB). This novel magnetic nanocomposite has indicated 35.4% degradation efficiency of MB within 50 min at neutral pH under sunlight irradiation.
