Comparing the experimental data of Methylene Blue removing from waste water via graphene oxide/TiO2 nanocomposite with various adsorption isotherms

چکیده
Wastewater treatment and dye removal are always important actions to control the pollution which are caused from industrial effluents, especially in the textile and dyeing industries. These industries are one of the largest producers of organic and dye compounds and therefore their refining conditions are complicated and difficult. Utilization of photocatalysts such as graphene oxide/TiO2 nanocomposite is one of the proper methods for dyes omitting. In this study, experimental data which were related to the methylene blue dye removing from the waste water via applying graphene oxide/TiO2 nanocomposite were compared with various adsorption isotherms models. It was obtained that the Langmuir isotherm 1(Hanes- Woolf with R2 = 0.9887) has the highest value and is the best model for surface adsorption of methylene blue dye by the graphene oxide/TiO2 nanocomposite.
