Synthesis, characterization and peroxidase-like activity of NiO-CdO-ZnO nanocomposite in oxidation of o-phenylendiamine

چکیده
NiO-CdO-ZnO nanocomposite was prepared by a facile one-pot co-precipitation method. The morphology and composition of the synthesized product were characterized by different techniques such as UV–visible absorption spectra, Fourier transform infrared spectrometer (FT–IR) and X–ray diffraction. The as-prepared NiO-CdO-ZnO nanocomposite was first demonstrated to possess intrinsic peroxidase-like activity, enhancing the oxidation of the substrate o-phenylendiamine in the presence of H2O2. The data show that the progress of the reaction follows the Michaelis–Menten model and the parameters Vmax, Km and Kcat were obtained.
