چکیده
In this study, a facile method for fabrication of Ag nanoparticles is demonstrated, along with their catalytic performance in the reduction of 4-nitrophenol (4-NP) and reduction of potassium hexacyanoferrate (III) K3[Fe(CN)6] by NaBH4 in aqueous medium. First, Ag nanoparticles were synthesized using Na3C6H5O7 and NaBH4 and characterized by spectroscopic method. The UV-vis spectroscopy was utilized to demonstrate the remarkable catalytic activity of the as-prepared nanoparticles which as an efficient nanocatalyst can be easily recovered from the reaction medium after reduction.
